गुरुवार को अशोक कुमार डीजीपी पद से सेवानिवृत्त हो चुके है। पुलिस लाइन में विदाई समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। जिसके बाद आईपीएस अभिनव कुमार ने कार्यवाहक डीजीपी की कमान संभाल ली है। अभिनव कुमार 1996 बैच के आइपीएस अफसर हैं। अशोक कुमार ने नए डीजीपी अभिनव कुमार को पुलिस की बैटन सौंपी। इस दौरान वह भावुक हो गए।
