मुख्य पशु चिकित्साधिकारी, उत्तरकाशी डॉ. भरत दत्त ढौंडियाल द्वारा गंगोत्री धाम में घोड़ा पड़ाव का निरीक्षण किया गया जिसमे 50 पशु बीमित पाए गए। वर्तमान समय में केवल 15 खच्चरों को ही भोजबासा तक जाने की अनुमति है। मुख्य पशुचिकित्सा अधिकारी महोदय द्वारा पशुपालकों को अपने खच्चरों में बीमा करवाने हेतु विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई एवं अनिवार्य रूप से बीमा करवाने को कहा गया। महोदय द्वारा पशुपालकों को अपने खच्चरों का समय से इलाज करवाने का आग्रह किया गया।

Chief Veterinary Officer, Uttarkashi Dr. Bharat Dutt Dhoundiyal inspected the horse halt at Gangotri Dham in which 50 animals were found to be insured. At present, only 15 mules are allowed till Bhojbasa. The Chief Veterinary Officer was given detailed information to the cattle owners to get insurance on their mules and was asked to get insurance compulsorily. The animal owners were urged by the sir to get their mules treated in time.
