भारतीय नौसेना ने देश के पहले स्वदेशी ड्राइविंग सपोर्ट वेसल ‘निस्तार’ को अपने बेड़े में शामिल कर लिया है। 120 मीटर लंबा यह पोत गहरे समुद्र में गोताखोरी, पनडुब्बी बचाव और सी-बेड मैपिंग जैसे मिशनों में सक्षम है। निस्तार पूरी तरह ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ पहल के तहत हिंदुस्तान शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड द्वारा बनाया गया है।

The Indian Navy has inducted the country’s first indigenous Diving Support Vessel (DSV) “Nistar” into its fleet. The 120-meter-long vessel is capable of deep-sea diving, submarine rescue operations, and seabed mapping missions. Nistar has been entirely built by Hindustan Shipyard Limited under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
