India's First Indigenous Diving Support Vessel "Nistar" inducted into Indian Navy
The Indian Navy has inducted the country’s first indigenous Diving Support Vessel (DSV) “Nistar” into its fleet. The 120-meter-long vessel is capable of deep-sea diving, submarine rescue operations, and seabed mapping missions. Nistar has been entirely built by Hindustan Shipyard Limited under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
