Indian Air Force to retire MiG-21 in September
The Indian Air Force will retire its MiG-21 fighter jets from service in September. Inducted in 1963, the MiG-21 has played a crucial role in India’s defense, contributing significantly in the 1965 and 1971 wars, the Kargil conflict, and the Balakot air strike. It will now be replaced by the indigenous Tejas Mk-1A and modern aircraft.
