मौसम के पूर्वानुमान को देखते हुए नैनीताल की जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह ने जनपद के छात्र-छात्राओं की सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर सभी आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र और शासकीय व अशासकीय विद्यालयों में कक्षा एक से बाहरवीं तक के लिए एक दिवसीय अवकाश घोषित किया है। सात जुलाई को नैनीताल के सभी स्कूल बंद रहेंगे।
