High alert issued on India-Nepal border amid Nepal violence

In view of the ongoing violent protests in Nepal, a high alert has been issued along the India-Nepal border. Security has been tightened in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal, with round-the-clock checks at border posts to ensure that no anti-social elements cross into India.
