Here the Meteorological Department issued an alert of rain and snowfall

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall at some places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh districts on March 6 and 7. Weather will remain dry in rest of the districts. There is a possibility of snowfall in places at an altitude of 3500 meters and above.
