दिनांक 10.04.2022 को थाना कपकोट को डायल 112 के माध्यम से सूचना प्राप्त हुवी की सरयू नदी में एक व्यक्ति नहाते समय डूब गया है, प्राप्त सूचना पर बिना विलंब किये तत्काल आवश्यक कार्यवाही हेतु एचपी-02 में नियुक्त कर्मचारी व एसडीआरएफ टीम को भेजा गया। पुलिस टीम के द्वारा डूबे हुुवे व्यक्ति को सरयू नदी से निकालकर उपचार हेतु सीएचसी कपकोट भेजा गया जहा चिकित्सकों के द्वारा उक्त व्यक्ति को मृत घोषित किया गया। मृतक की पहचान गुसाई राम पुत्र देव राम  निवासी वार्ड न0.3 शिवालय वयूड़ा कपकोट, जिला बागेश्वर उम्र 70 वर्ष के रुप में हुवी।

On 10/04/2022, Police Station Kapkot was informed through dial 112 that a person has drowned while bathing in the Saryu river, on the information received, the employee and SDRF team were sent to HP-02 for immediate necessary action without delay. The drowned person was removed from the Saryu river by the police team and sent to CHC Kapkot for treatment where the person was declared dead by the doctors. The deceased was identified as Gusai Ram's son Dev Ram resident ward no-3 Shivalaya Vayuda Kapkot, District-Bageshwar, age 70.
