चमोली जिले के नंदा नगर घाट क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश के कारण नदी उफान पर आ गई, जिससे आसपास के कई घरों में मलबा और पत्थर घुस गए। इस आपदा से खेतों और गौशालाओं को भी नुकसान पहुंचा है। हालांकि, राहत की बात यह है कि किसी जनहानि की सूचना नहीं मिली है। प्रशासन ने तुरंत राहत-बचाव टीमें मौके पर भेज दी हैं और नुकसान का आकलन किया जा रहा है।
