स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने सोबन सिंह जीना राजकीय आयुर्विज्ञान एवं शोध संस्थान अल्मोड़ा से सम्बद्ध राजकीय बेस चिकित्सालय अल्मोड़ा में विभिन्न चिकित्सा सुविधाओं का लोकार्पण किया। जिसमें (2.84 करोड़) की लागत से तैयार ‘नेक्स्ट जनरेशन सिक्वेंसिंग लैब’, (2.46 करोड़) की ‘डिजिटल रेडियोग्राफी सिस्टम’ एवं (1.13 करोड़) लागत की ‘डिजिटल मैमोग्राफी सिस्टम’ शामिल है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन सभी चिकित्सा सुविधाओं के शुरू होने से आम लोगों को जहां सहूलियत होगी वहीं उन्हें अन्य शहरों के चक्कर नहीं काटने पड़ेंगे।

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated various medical facilities at the Government Base Hospital Almora affiliated to Soban Singh Jina Government Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Almora. In which 'Next Generation Sequencing Lab' prepared at a cost of (2.84 crore), 'Digital Radiography System' worth (2.46 crore) and 'Digital Mammography System' worth (1.13 crore) are included. He said that with the starting of all these medical facilities, where the common people would be comfortable, they would not have to travel to other cities.
