स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज में 285 लाख रुपए की लागत वाले ‘जीनोम सीक्वेंसिंग लैब’ का लोकार्पण किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सभी को मालूम है कि कोरोना संक्रमण काल में ‘जीनोम सीक्वेंसिंग’ का कितना अधिक महत्व रहा। ऐसे में भविष्य में इस तरह के किसी भी संकट से निपटने के लिए सरकार के प्रयत्न जारी हैं। श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज में उक्त लैब का लोकार्पण भी इन्हीं प्रयासों का एक हिस्सा है।

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated 'Genome Sequencing Lab' at Srinagar Medical College costing Rs 285 lakh. He said that we all know how important 'genome sequencing' was during the Corona transition period. In such a situation, the government's efforts are on to deal with any such crisis in future. The dedication of the said lab in Srinagar Medical College is also a part of these efforts.
