He became the new Vice Chancellor of Kumaon University, orders issued

The new Vice-Chancellor of Kumaun University will be Dr. Diwan Singh Rawat, Senior Professor of Delhi University. For this, the Raj Bhavan issued orders on Wednesday. Prof. Rawat will handle this responsibility for the next three years. Please tell that Prof. Rawat did his graduation from Kumaun University in the year 1989 and did his Master's in 1991. After which he did PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Central Drug Research Institute Lucknow and Kumaon University. Along with this, he has done Post Doctoral Fellow at Indiana University and Purdue University USA.
