पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने शनिवार को बड़ी संख्या में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और हरिद्वार के किसानों के साथ मुख्यमंत्री आवास कूच किया। इस दौरान उनके साथ बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता और किसान भी आगे बढ़े। किसानों का आरोप है कि बाढ़ और आपदा के चलते उनकी गन्ने की फसल के साथ ही अन्य फसलें भी खराब हो गईं लेकिन सरकार ने कोई सुध नहीं ली। किसानों का आरोप है कि सरकार ने उनके लिए जो मुआवजा तय किया है वो बेहद कम है।
