Haridwar Police exposed fake income tax raid

On 08.02.2023, the Haridwar Police succeeded in nabbing two accused from the canal track area through CCTV camera footage and informer system, who cheated Rs.20 lakh by making fake income tax raids in the Roorkee area. The luxury car used in the incident, two and a half lakh cash, 01 lakh valuable Apple mobile bought with the cheated money, fake documents, and stamp of the Income Tax Department were recovered from the possession of the accused.
