हरिद्वार पुलिस ने नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ अभियान में बड़ी सफलता प्राप्त की। 18 दिसंबर 2024 को रानीपुर पुलिस, एएनटीएफ और सीआईयू हरिद्वार की संयुक्त टीम ने नहर पटरी के पास कार्यवाही करते हुए दो मोटरसाइकिलों पर सवार तीन संदिग्धों को पकड़ा। उनके पास से 274.5 ग्राम स्मैक (कीमत लगभग 55 लाख रुपये) बरामद की गई।
