राजभवन में उत्तराखण्ड की लोक संस्कृति और पर्यावरण संरक्षण का पर्व ‘हरेला’ मनाया गया। राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह ने हरेला पर्व के अवसर पर राजभवन परिसर में लुकाट् प्रजाति के पौधे का रोपण किया। इस अवसर पर राजभवन परिसर में उपस्थित अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने भी परिसर में लुकाट सहित नीम, प्लम, कटहल, रंगीन प्रजाति के आम, अमरूद व जामुन के पौधों का वृक्षारोपण किया।

'Harela', the festival of Uttarakhand's folk culture and environmental protection, was celebrated at the Raj Bhavan. Governor Gurmit Singh planted a plant of the Lukat species in the Raj Bhavan campus on the occasion of Harela festival. On this occasion, the officers and employees present in the Raj Bhavan campus also planted Lukat along with neem, plum, jackfruit, colorful species of mango, guava and jamun plants in the campus.
