उत्तराखंड सरकार दिसंबर 2025 से राज्य में प्रवेश करने वाले बाहरी वाहनों पर ग्रीन सेस लागू करने जा रही है। यह सेस ऑटोमेटिक रूप से फास्टैग से कटेगा, जिसके लिए राज्यभर में 40 से अधिक एएनपीआर कैमरे लगाए गए हैं। परिवहन विभाग के अनुसार, इस व्यवस्था से हर साल 100 से 150 करोड़ रुपये तक का राजस्व मिलने की उम्मीद है।

The Uttarakhand government will implement a green cess on vehicles entering the state from Dec 2025. The cess will be automatically deducted through FASTag, for which over 40 ANPR cameras have been installed across the state. According to the Transport Department, this system is expected to generate revenue of ₹100 - ₹150 crore annually.
