According to report, to ensure the safety of the Char Dham Yatra 2026, the transport department has made green cards mandatory for commercial vehicles. Without a green card, no taxi, bus, or traveler vehicle will be allowed entry on the yatra route. Meanwhile, vehicles will undergo fitness checks and document verification before approval.
