राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह ने आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र कोटी भानियावाला, देहरादून में महिला सशक्तीकरण एवं बाल विकास विभाग, उत्तराखण्ड द्वारा आयोजित ‘हरेला महोत्सव-एक पेड़ मां के नाम’ कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग कर अपनी माताजी स्वर्गीय श्रीमती कंस कौर जी के नाम पर रुद्राक्ष का पौधा रोपित किया। इस अवसर पर इस परिसर में कुल 100 पौधे का रोपण किया गया।

Governor Gurmit Singh participated as the chief guest in the 'Harela Mahotsav - Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' program organized by Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Uttarakhand at Anganwadi Center Koti Bhaniyawala, Dehradun and planted a Rudraksha plant in the name of his mother Late Smt. Kans Kaur ji. On this occasion, a total of 100 saplings were planted in this campus.
