राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) बिहार राज्य प्रवास के दौरान बोधगया स्थित महाबोधि मंदिर के दर्शन किए। उन्होंने कहा की महाबोधि मंदिर में स्थित पवित्र बोधिवृक्ष स्थल की महत्ता अत्यधिक है और यहाँ अत्यंत शान्ति का अनुभव हुआ। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति की विशेषता रही है कि यहां से विश्व कल्याण की कामना की गई है। यहां से विश्व शांति, बंधुत्व और मानवता की कामना की गई है।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) visited the Mahabodhi Temple at Bodh Gaya during his stay in Bihar state. He said that the sacred Bodhi tree site located in the Mahabodhi temple has immense importance and one experienced extreme peace here. The Governor said that the specialty of Indian culture has been that wishes for the welfare of the world have been expressed from here. From here a wish has been made for world peace, brotherhood, and humanity.
