राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह अपने दो दिवसीय भ्रमण कार्यक्रम के अनुसार दूसरे दिन जनपद के लोहाघाट स्थित अद्वैत आश्रम मायावती पहुंचे। मायावती आश्रम पहुँचकर राज्यपाल ने कहा कि यहां की प्रकृति तनाव मुक्त करने में मददगार है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह आश्रम देश-विदेश के लोगों को आध्यात्म की ओर आकर्षित करता है, उन्होंने मायावती में संचालित हो रहे धर्मार्थ चिकित्सालय की सेवाओं व सुविधाओं की सराहना की।

As per his two-day tour program, Governor Gurmit Singh reached Advaita Ashram Mayawati located at Lohaghat in the district on the second day. After reaching Mayawati Ashram, the Governor said that the nature here is helpful in relieving stress. He said that this ashram attracts people from India and abroad towards spirituality. He appreciated the services and facilities of the charitable hospital being run in Mayawati.
