राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से.नि.) ने मंगलवार को राजभवन देहरादून से आर्यभट्ट प्रेक्षण विज्ञान शोध संस्थान नैनीताल में स्थापित चार मीटर आईएलएमटी (इंटरनेशनल लिक्विड मिरर टेलीस्कोप) का वर्चुअली उद्घाटन किया। उद्घाटन के अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने कहा कि आईएलएमटी के रूप में एक और शक्तिशाली टेलीस्कोप की स्थापना न केवल भारत और इसके सहयोगी देशों के लिए बल्कि पूरे विश्व लिए गौरव की बात है।

Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the four-meter ILMT (International Liquid Mirror Telescope) set up at Aryabhatta Observational Science Research Institute, Nainital from Raj Bhavan Dehradun. Speaking at the inauguration, the Governor said that setting up another powerful telescope in the form of ILMT is a matter of pride not only for India and its partner countries but for the whole world.
