राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह ने राजभवन में ‘पथ प्रदर्शक’ कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट के टापर्स और विभिन्न संस्थानों में अध्ययनरत मेधावी छात्र-छात्राओं को छात्रवृत्तियां प्रदान की। इसके अलावा कार्यक्रम में सामाजिक व शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं को आर्थिक सहायता भी प्रदान की गयी। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि बच्चों की आर्थिक स्थिति उनके आगे बढ़ने के लक्ष्य में बाधा नहीं बननी चाहिए।

Governor Gurmit Singh provided scholarships to the toppers of high school and intermediate and meritorious students studying in various institutions under the 'Path Pradarshak' program at Raj Bhavan. Apart from this, financial assistance was also provided to social and educational institutions in the program. The Governor said that the financial condition of the children should not become an obstacle in their goal of moving forward.
