राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से.नि.) ने गुरूवार को राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी दिवस के अवसर पर आईआईटी रूड़की में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने संस्थान द्वारा बधिर दिव्यांगों के लिए संचालित अनुश्रुति अकादमी का भ्रमण किया। उन्होंने बच्चों द्वारा बनायी गई पेंटिंग, हैण्डीक्राफ्ट आदि को भी देखा और उनकी सराहना की। इस दौरान राज्यपाल ने संस्थान की टिंकरिंग लैब, संस्थान के पुस्तकालय का भी भ्रमण किया और उन्होंने छात्रों द्वारा लगाई गई प्रदर्शनी का भी अवलोकन किया।

Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.) participated as the chief guest in the program organized at IIT Roorkee on the occasion of National Technology Day on Thursday. On this occasion, the Governor visited the Anushruti Academy run by the Institute for the deaf disabled. He also saw and appreciated the paintings, handicrafts etc. made by the children. During this, the Governor also visited the institute's tinkering lab, institute's library and also visited the exhibition put up by the students.
