राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने उत्तराखंड के श्रीनगर स्थित राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के चतुर्थ दीक्षांत समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में प्रतिभाग करते हुए संस्थान के कुल 108 छात्र छात्राओं को, उपाधि और मेडल प्रदान किये। राज्यपाल ने इस दौरान चंद्रबदनी, नंदा देवी, राजराजेश्वरी, शिव भक्ति, कंसमर्दनी और भागीरथी स्वयं सहायता समूह द्वारा तैयार किए गए उत्पादों का भी अवलोकन किया तथा महिलाओं के इन प्रयासों की मुक्तकंठ प्रशंसा भी की।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), while participating as the chief guest in the fourth convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, awarded degrees and medals to a total of 108 students of the institute. During this time, the Governor also inspected the products prepared by Chandrabadni, Nanda Devi, Rajarajeshwari, Shiv Bhakti, Kansamardani, and Bhagirathi self-help groups and also praised the efforts of these women openly.
