राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने शनिवार को हरिद्वार में उत्तराखण्ड संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय के 10वें दीक्षांत समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय के मेधावी छात्र-छात्राओं को पदक और शोधार्थियों को शोध उपाधियां प्रदान की। दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए राज्यपाल ने पदक एवं उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले सभी छात्र-छात्राओं एवं उनके अभिभावकों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं से कहा कि आप सभी संस्कृत के प्रचार एवं प्रसार में अपना योगदान दें।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) attended the 10th convocation ceremony of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University in Haridwar on Saturday as the chief guest. On this occasion, he presented medals to the meritorious students of the university and research degrees to the research scholars. Addressing the convocation ceremony, the Governor congratulated all the students and their parents who received medals and degrees. He told the students who received the degree that all of you should contribute in the promotion and spread of Sanskrit.
