राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेनि) ने गुरु नानक देव जी के 555वें प्रकाश पर्व के अवसर पर रेसकोर्स, देहरादून स्थित गुरुद्वारे में मत्था टेक कर प्रदेशवासियों की सुख-समृद्धि और खुशहाली के लिए प्रार्थना की। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने गुरु नानक देव जी के प्रकाश पर्व की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि उनकी शिक्षाओं में निहित ‘इक ओंकार सत नाम’ का मूल मंत्र एक गहन प्रेरणा स्रोत है।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (retd) prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state by paying obeisance at the gurudwara located at Race Course, Dehradun on the occasion of the 555th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev ji. On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the people and said that the basic mantra of 'Ek Omkar Sat Nam' contained in his teachings is a deep source of inspiration.
