राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने हनी बी प्रोसेसिंग (शहद निकालने की प्रक्रिया) का अवलोकन किया। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने कहा कि मौन पालन राज्य में लोगों को आर्थिक समृद्ध बनाने में सहायक होगा। आने वाले समय में उत्तराखण्ड, शहद में उत्पादित शहद विश्व भर में एक अलग पहचान बनाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन की दृष्टि से आकर्षण का केंद्र होने के साथ-साथ यहां पर मधुमक्खी पालन को भी ज्यादा से ज्यादा प्रोत्साहित किया जाना आवश्यक है।

Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd) observed honey bee processing (a process of extracting honey). Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that it would help in making the people of the state economically prosperous. In the coming time, honey produced in Uttarakhand, honey will create a different identity in the world. He said that apart from being a center of attraction from the point of view of tourism, it is necessary to encourage maximum beekeeping here.
