राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने राजभवन परिसर में नवनिर्मित ‘राजलक्ष्मी गौशाला’ का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर पशुपालन मंत्री सौरभ बहुगुणा भी उपस्थित रहे। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में गाय को विशेष महत्व दिया जाता रहा है इसलिए गाय की माता के रूप में पूजा की जाती है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज बद्री गाय के दूध के उत्पादों की पूरे विश्व में अत्यधिक मांग है। यह दुनिया में सबसे अधिक गुणकारी एवं निरोग दूध पहाड़ी बद्री गाय का है।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) inaugurated the newly constructed 'Rajlakshmi Gaushala' in the Raj Bhavan complex. Animal Husbandry Minister Saurabh Bahuguna was also present on this occasion. The Governor said that the cow has been given special importance in Indian culture, hence cow is worshiped as a mother. He said that today the milk products of Badri cow are in high demand all over the world. This is the most beneficial and healthy milk in the world, from the Pahari Badri cow.
