शुक्रवार को राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने राजभवन में गोल्फ क्लब नैनीताल द्वारा आयोजित 18वें ‘‘गवर्नर्स कप गोल्फ टूर्नामेंट’’ का टी-ऑफ खेलकर शुभारम्भ किया। तीन दिन तक चलने वाली इस प्रतियोगिता का समापन रविवार को होगा। इस वर्ष 125 खिलाड़ियों ने प्रतियोगिता हेतु पंजीकरण कराया है। राज्यपाल ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से आए गोल्फरों से बातचीत की और उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया।

On Friday, Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) inaugurated the 18th "Governor's Cup Golf Tournament" organized by Golf Club Nainital at Raj Bhavan by playing the tee-off. The three-day competition will conclude on Sunday. This year 125 players have registered for the competition. The Governor interacted with the golfers who come from different areas and encouraged them.
