राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने राजभवन में राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों की बैठक ली। बैठक में सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपति और शासन के उच्चाधिकारी मौजूद रहे। बैठक में राज्यपाल ने कहा कि सभी विश्वविद्यालय राज्य हित में योगदान हेतु उनकी विशेषज्ञता के आधार पर एक-एक शोध प्रस्तुत करें। उन्होंने कहा कि वन यूनिवर्सिटी-वन रिसर्च पर आधारित यह शोध राज्य के विकास और लोगों के जीवन उन्नयन हेतु उपयोगी साबित हो।

Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) took a meeting of Vice Chancellors of State Universities at Raj Bhavan. Vice Chancellors of all universities and senior government officials were present in the meeting. In the meeting, the Governor said that all the universities should present one research each on the basis of their expertise to contribute to the interest of the state. He said that this research based on One University-One Research should prove useful for the development of the state and upliftment of people's lives.
