आज बैठक में शासन के उच्चाधिकारियों के साथ डी.जी.पी व संबंधित विभागों के विभागाध्यक्ष उपस्थित रहे। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि चारधाम यात्रा उत्तराखण्ड की सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक व्यवस्था की पहचान है। सभी विभागों को आपसी समन्वय के साथ कार्य करना होगा। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा और सुरक्षा का पूर्ण ध्यान रखा जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय नागरिक चारधाम यात्रा के अभिन्न अंग हैं, उनकी भागीदारी के बिना यह यात्रा संभव नहीं है।

In today's meeting, the DGP and the heads of the departments concerned were present along with the high officials of the government. Governor said that Chardham Yatra is the identity of the social and cultural system of Uttarakhand. He directed that full care should be taken for the convenience and safety of the devotees. He said that the local citizens are an integral part of Chardham Yatra, without their participation this Yatra is not possible.

Governor Gurmeet Singh held a meeting with high officials of the government regarding the preparations for the Chardham Yatra.
