राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह ने आज डी.बी.एस परिसर में आयोजित कुमाऊँ विश्वविद्यालय के 17वें दीक्षांत समारोह में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत भी उपस्थित रहे। दीक्षांत समारोह में राज्यपाल और उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री ने शैक्षिक सत्र 2019-20 एवं 2020-21 के सामान्य एवं व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों के स्नातक एवं परास्नातक स्तर के कुल 58,640 विद्यार्थियों को उपाधियां प्रदान की।

Governor Gurmeet Singh attended the 17th convocation ceremony of Kumaon University organized on the DBS campus today as the chief guest. Special guest Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat was also present in the program. In the convocation ceremony, the Governor and the Higher Education Minister conferred degrees to a total of 58,640 students of the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of general and vocational courses for the academic session 2019-20 and 2020-21.
