जनपद चमोली- आर0सी0एम0 के समीप स्थित जंगल में आग लगी हुई थी, जो तेजी से आवासीय भवनों की ओर बढ़ रही थी। मौके पर पहुंची फायर सर्विस गोपेश्वर ने हाई प्रेशर से पंपिंग कर आग पर काबू पाने का कार्य आरम्भ किया। कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आवासीय परिसर की ओर तेजी से बढ़ रही आग पर पूर्ण रुप से काबू पाया गया।
