पुलिसकर्मी अनूप पोखरियाल ने बीते शाम 4 बजे राकेश शर्मा जो अपनी पुत्री कुमारी यामिका उम्र 6 वर्ष के साथ सूरत (गुजरात) से श्री बद्रीधाम दर्शन को आये थे परेशान होकर उक्त कांस्टेबल के पास आये व बताया कि भीड़ में उनकी बेटी उनसे बिछड़ गयी है। पुलिस कर्मी ने परिजनों का धैर्य बंधाया व त्वरित लड़की की ढूंढ़खोज शुरू कर दी, काफी तलाश करने के बाद उक्त बालिका को उनके परिजनों से मिलवा दिया गया। परिजनों द्वारा चमोली पुलिस का आभार प्रकट किया गया।
