सीआईएसएफ की सब-इंस्पेक्टर गीता समोता 19 मई 2025 को माउंट एवरेस्ट फतह करने वाली पहली सीआईएसएफ कर्मी बन गईं। 8,849 मीटर ऊंची इस चोटी पर चढ़ाई कर उन्होंने अपने ‘सात शिखर’ मिशन में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की। अब 2026 में सीआईएसएफ की एक पूरी टीम को एवरेस्ट भेजने की योजना है।

CISF Sub-Inspector Geeta Samota became the first CISF personnel to scale Mount Everest on May 19, 2025. By conquering the 8,849-meter peak, she achieved a major milestone in her 'Seven Summits' mission. Now, there are plans to send a full CISF team to Everest in 2026.
