Gangotri National Park closed for winter

According to reports, the gates of Gangotri National Park and Gartang Gali have been closed for tourists for the winter season. This year, around 29,162 tourists visited the area, generating revenue of approximately ₹81 lakh for the park administration. Tourists will next be able to visit the park from 1 April 2026 onwards.
