From February 1, Tobacco, Bidis, Cigarettes and Pan Masala to become costlier

According to information, the central government has announced a new tax/cess on tobacco, bidis, cigarettes, and pan masala in addition to GST, which will come into effect from February 1 and once implemented, these products will become costlier. It has been stated that this step has been taken keeping health-related concerns in mind.
