Free registration under 'Uniform Civil Code' ongoing in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand has opened free UCC registration for all residents until July 26 to encourage wider participation. In Dehradun, 10,585 applications have been received so far, with 10,020 approved and around 150 still pending. Additionally, 26 applications were submitted under live-in relationships, out of which 18 have been approved.
