भगवान भास्कर की आराधना का चार दिवसीय महापर्व छठ पूजा आज 25 अक्टूबर से नहाय-खाय के साथ शुरू हो गया है। 26 अक्टूबर को खरना पूजन के साथ 36 घंटे का निर्जला उपवास शुरू होगा, जिसमें व्रती बिना पानी पिए उपवास रखते हैं। बता दें कि 27 अक्टूबर की शाम डूबते सूर्य को और 28 अक्टूबर की सुबह उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य अर्पित किया जाएगा।

The four-day grand festival of Chhath Puja, dedicated to the worship of the God Surya, began on Oct 25. On Oct 26, devotees will observe Kharna Puja, marking the start of a 36-hour nirjala fast, during which they abstain from both food and water. Offerings (arghya) will be made to the setting sun on Oct 27 and the rising sun on Oct 28.
