Food safety dialogue organized on World Food Safety Day

On the occasion of World Food Safety Day, Food Safety and Drug Administration (FDA) organised a food safety dialogue with food traders, media and subject experts at a hotel on Subhash Road. The program was inaugurated by Additional Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Mr. Tajbar Singh Jaggi and other guests. The Additional Commissioner said that by running special campaigns on Chardham Yatra routes and tourist centres, those selling adulterated food items are being curbed.
