शासकीय आवास पर सीएम धामी ने लोकपर्व ईगास के अवसर पर अग्नि देवता की विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना एवं सुंदरकांड पाठ कर समस्त प्रदेशवासियों के सुख, समृद्धि एवं राज्य की उन्नति हेतु प्रार्थना की। उन्होंने कहा कि लोक संस्कृति एवं परम्परा देवभूमि की पहचान है, ईगास का पर्व हमारे लिए बेहद विशेष है। इस लोक पर्व को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने के लिए बीते कुछ सालों से सार्वजनिक अवकाश की परम्परा भी शुरू की गई है।

धूमधाम से मनाया गया लोकपर्व ईगास

On the occasion of the folk festival Igas, CM Dhami duly worshiped the fire god and recited Sundarkand at the government residence and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and progress of all the people of the state. He said that folk culture and tradition are the identity of Devbhoomi, the festival of Igas is very special for us. To reach this folk festival to the people, the tradition of public holiday has also been started for the last few years.
