उत्तराखंड में राज्य का पहला खेल विश्वविद्यालय बनने जा रहा है जो खिलाड़ियों के लिए एक बड़ी सौगात साबित होगा। सरकार द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय के निर्माण के लिए 10 करोड़ का कॉपर्स फंड दिया जाएगा। जिसके माध्यम से उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण आधुनिक उपकरण और राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धा के लिए तैयार करने वाली सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

The state's first sports university is going to be built in Uttarakhand which will prove to be a great gift for the players. The government will provide a corpus fund of Rs 10 crore for the construction of the university. Through which high level training, modern equipment and facilities to prepare for competition at national and international level will be provided.
