दिनांक 08.04.2022 को समय लगभग 19ः25 बजे फायर सर्विस  बागेश्वर को सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि ’पालनीकोट तहसील बागेश्वर के जंगल में आग लगी है’ जो आबादी की ओर बढ़ रही है। फायर यूनिट तुरंत ही पैदल घटनास्थल के लिए रवाना हुए’ तथा घटना स्थल पर पहुंचकर आग को बीटींग मैथड से फायर बीटर तथा पेड़ की टहनियों से पीट पीट कर कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग को बुझाया गया जिससे आग फैलने से बच गई।

On 08-04-2022 at around 19:25 the fire service Bageshwar received information that there is a fire in the jungle of Palnikot Tehsil Bageshwar which is heading towards the population. The fire units immediately rushed to the spot on foot and after reaching the spot, the fire was extinguished by beating with fire beaters and tree branches after a lot of effort, which saved the fire from spreading.
