बीते दिन फायर स्टेशन गोपेश्वर को सांयकाल को सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि कलेक्ट्रेट के पास सड़क पर तेज़ हवा के कारण एक विशालकाय पेड़ गिर गया है, जिससे आवागमन अवरुद्ध हो गया था। फायर सर्विस यूनिट तुरंत घटनास्थल पहुंची और वुडन कटर की सहायता से पेड़ को टुकडों-टुकडों में काटकर रोड से हटाया गया और यातायात को सुचारू किया गया।

The fire station Gopeshwar received information in the evening that a huge tree had fallen due to strong wind on the road near the collectorate, blocking the movement. The Fire Service Unit immediately reached the spot and the tree was cut into pieces and removed from the road and traffic was smoothened.
