दिनाँक 07.06.2023 को चंडिका मन्दिर बागेश्वर के पास जंगल में आग लग गई। आग बहुत ज्यादा फैल चुकी थी जो चंडिका मंदिर परिसर की ओर बढ़ रही थी। सूचना पर पहुंचे फायर स्टेशन बागेश्वर की फायर टीम द्वारा तत्काल मिनि हाई प्रेसर वाटर टेंडर के होजरील से पानी डालकर जंगल की आग को कड़ी मशक्कत के उपरांत पूर्ण रूप से बुझाया गया एवं किसी प्रकार का नुकसान होने से बचा लिया गया।

On 07.06.2023 a forest fire broke out near Chandika Mandir Bageshwar. The fire had spread widely and was moving towards the Chandika temple complex. The fire team of Fire Station Bageshwar, who reached the information, immediately extinguished the forest fire by pouring water from the mini high pressure water tender's hose after hard work and was saved from any kind of damage.
