दिनांक 20.04.2022 की रात्रि को फायर स्टेशन गोपेश्वर को सूचना मिली कि नये बस अड्डा गोपेश्वर के पास वाले चीड़ के जंगल में आग लगी है, जो काफी तेजी से आबादी क्षेत्र की तरफ बढ़ रही है, उक्त सूचना पर फायर सर्विस गोपेश्वर द्वारा तत्परता से कार्यवाही करते हुए मौके पर पहुंचकर वाटर टेंडर की मॉनिटर ब्रांच से आग पर पूर्ण रूप से काबू पाया गया व समय रहते आबादी क्षेत्र की तरफ बढ़ रही आग को पूर्ण रूप से बुझा लिया गया।
