दिनांक 23 जनवरी 2024 को टनकपुर क्षेत्र कूड़े के डंपिंग जोन में आग लग गई। सूचना पर अग्निशमन केंद्र टनकपुर से एक फायर यूनिट में मय सजा-सज्जा के घटनास्थल पहुंच कर नगर पालिका के कूड़े के डंपिंग जोन में लगी आग पर पानी की बौछार कर आग को पूर्ण रूप से बुझाया गया, घटना स्थल पर नगर पालिका टनकपुर के अधिकारी/कर्मचारी मौजूद थे।

On January 23, 2024, a fire broke out in the garbage dumping zone of the Tanakpur area. On information, a fire unit from Tanakpur fire station reached the spot and completely extinguished the fire by spraying water on the fire in the garbage dumping zone of the municipality. Officials of Tanakpur municipality reached the spot.
