Fire breaks out in shops near Rishikesh Laxman Jhula, no casualties reported

On August 11, 2025, at 3:55 am, a fire broke out in 4–5 makeshift shops near the Laxman Jhula temple in Rishikesh. The blaze was spreading to other shops but was brought under control by the Fire Service Unit. A scooter parked in front of one of the shops was also burnt in the incident. However, no casualties were reported.
