सीएम धामी से बीते दिन मुख्यमंत्री आवास में प्रसिद्ध फ़िल्म अभिनेता अक्षय कुमार ने मुलाकात कर उत्तराखण्ड को नए फिल्म इंडस्ट्री हब के रूप में विकसित किए जाने पर चर्चा की। सीएम धामी ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड राज्य दिन प्रतिदिन फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के लिए एक नए शूटिंग डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में उभर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार भी उत्तराखण्ड को एक बड़े फिल्म डेस्टिनेशन के रूप में विकसित करने पर विभिन्न योजनाओं पर कार्य कर रही है। इसके लिए नई फिल्म नीति पर भी कार्य किया जा रहा है।
